To assist in the advancement of a society it is necessary to promote the personal development and growth of all of its members. The committee provides psychological and legal assistance through professionals who specialize in various fields.
Psychological services
Support individuals who come to the foundation seeking emotional well-being.
The support team is made of psychotherapists who focus on the following areas: crisis management, depression, family violence, suicidal intent, tanatology, learning disabilities, severe anxiety, family services, etc.
Psychiatric Services
The objective is to benefit individuals with psychiatric disorders to allow them to achieve a better quality of life and the opportunity to participate in activities that dignify them as human beings.
The foundation is currently assisting individuals with the following diagnostics: psychotic disorders, dementia, neuroinfections, schizophrenia, and chronic psychosis.
It is important to mention that they are also assisted with the purchasing of prescribed psychiatric medications.
Substance Abuse Program
Many of the requests received by the foundation are related to cases of substance abuse. A rehabilitation program has been established for problems with drug addiction, alcoholism, eating disorders (bulimia, anorexia) and codependency.
Support and Legal Advice for Women
The committee provides legal advice to address requests related to child support, abandonment, divorce due to domestic violence, etc. Some of these cases show the vulnerability to which many women are exposed to. This is the reason for the commitment of the foundation to promote the value of women through its participation and support of the International Women’s Day, in conjunction with municipal authorities, among other activities.
